24-Hour  Hunger Strike for Immigration Reform!

This past week former SEIU Secretary Treasurer, Eliseo Medina, and other faith, civil rights, immigrant and labor leaders began a hunger strike. They're fasting (only consuming water) as a personal commitment, and as a way to reach the hearts of members of Congress and push them to pass immigration reform.

We are asking that you join in solidarity with their very valiant efforts and commit to a 24-hour hunger strike from 5 pm on Tuesday, November 19th, to 5 pm on Wednesday, November 20th.

Through this hunger strike, you can talk to your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors about the need to pass comprehensive immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship for all. Too many families have been separated because of our broken immigration system which continues to tear apart the very fabric of our country.

Countless families across the country need your help to encourage Congress to pass immigration reform before the end of this congressional cycle.
